Make it possible to add notes to a draft

When I'm writing a draft, I often have links, ideas, thoughts that I put at the bottom of the draft, and throughout to remind me of what needs to be added next time I work on it.
With long threads this creates a lot of proof-reading work to make sure that none of my notes have been left in the final copy.
It'd be great if there was a hidden notes area for each thread, perhaps another column, kind of a junk drawer for thoughts, ideas and links to draw upon when I write.
Another way I might use this is to copy a messy draft from RoamResearch into the notes area, then use it as reference as I type, copy-pasting sentences. Rather than having to go through and format and edit it all.
